Every sale tells a story. While some roasters move seamlessly from one roastery to another, others take a more scenic route. This used Probat G90 mini-plant - featuring a chaff collector, destoner, MPE Chain-vey green bean loader, air compressor, 20' of chimney PLUS two brand-new Clean Stream afterburners - has certainly followed the latter path.

This big guy's story is filled with mystery, luck, glory, a cross-country adventure with a bit of a plot twist... and, hopefully, now, a happy conclusion.

The story: Originally constructed in 2004, this sturdy Probat G90 set found its first home with an owner who operated it for ten years. The details of its early days remain a mystery for us, but it was later entrusted to the renowned Probat refurbishers Kirsch and Mausser, esteemed for their skill in rejuvenating Probat G drum roasters.

This stroke of luck in 2014 saw this G90 set restored to its former glory, and it soon caught the attention of a respected West Coast roastery.

For six years, it dutifully roasted up to 200 lbs/hr, pausing only on Fridays for maintenance and cleaning. In 2020, the then-owner decided to move operations out of state and sold this equipment instead of relocating it.

Here’s the plot twist: Ironically, this hard-working mini-plant right after being tech-checked (see videos below) in February of 2022, still left the state, traveling cross-country to the East Coast, where it's since been sitting in storage at its current owner's facility. He was already in full production with another machine, and it never quite worked out to integrate this guy on the roastery floor—so today, it's yours for the taking.

Even though the current owner never used this equipment, in preparation, he strategized with Rick D here at CEPros and engineer/owner Chris at Clean Stream Afterburners on a way more efficient abatement solution which included handling the cooler exhaust "puff". The resolve: purchasing two brand-new Clean Stream CSA-1500 afterburners, one catalytic and the other thermal, designed, respectively, to manage roast air and automatically adjust for cooling cycles.

Note: This equipment package is priced for the inclusion of the catalytic afterburner only. We recognize a second thermal A/B may not be needed based on your local air quality laws, so we offer the thermal unit as an optional add-on.

INSPECTION.
Used equipment offered for sale on CEPros.com is sold as is, where is, as represented in this listing, and is subject to our sale terms and conditions found on our website HERE. Our Used Elite equipment is exactly that, used, and may have aesthetic issues. And defects have been disclosed in this listing. Buyer may inspect the equipment prior to purchase. BRAND NEW CONDITION.
Equipment that is in brand new condition, whether in original crate or not, important to note that it has never been connected to utilities, powered up, and turned on. It is still classified as Used Equipment as is being resold from original sale and purchaser. Buyer is aware beyond the manufacturer testing prior to sale, due to never used status, Its current operating condition is unknown. Buyer also confirms awareness that coffee roastery manufacturer warranties do not transfer, even if equipment when resold is still within the manufacturer's warranty period.

MODIFICATIONS.
Seller verifies that the equipment condition and operation is exactly as represented on CEPros listing which was approved by Seller when going live on our sales platform. If any modification in any way has been made, Seller confirms the modification(s) have been disclosed and fully described in detail in its listing. In the case of a modification, Seller agrees to be available for communication with BUYER if need arises during installation due to the modifications.

CHIMNEY.
Any pieces of chimney and/or ducting that are included in this equipment sale are identified as used, regardless if never previously installed. BUYER understands this chimney and/or ducting may or may not be usable in their specific application. BUYER is aware that some or all of the included chimney and/or ducting may need to be replaced or pieces purchased to complete needed venting for their installation. BUYER is aware that used chimney and ducting may need to be cleaned prior to use and installation.

PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENTS.
All equipment sales will include a DocuSign digital Purchase and Sale agreement executed by the Buyer and Seller.

PAYMENT.
Bank Wire Transfer or ACH are the only payment options for Coffee Equipment Pros purchases and Seller payment. The Bank Wire Transfer or ACH must be completed within 5 days of purchase agreement execution or the transaction is void unless otherwise arranged. Coffee Equipment Pros bank wire transfer information will be provided at time of invoice.

EQUIPMENT RELOCATION.
Seller is responsible for equipment decommissioning and disassembly effort and costs. Buyer is financially responsible for equipment transportation preparation and transit, or arranging for pick-up. Equipment will be prepared for relocating via professional crating efforts facilitated and monitored by Coffee Equipment Pros Logistics. This includes crate/pallet/wrap/strap progress pictures that will need to be approved. Equipment transportation will be either pick-up by Buyer or Coffee Equipment Pros facilitated freight and/or shipping including timely communications to all parties. International purchases will include customs and documentation arrangements.

Once a Used Elite equipment sale has transacted, what’s involved in relocating the equipment?

Once the seller confirms full payment has been received, CEPros will move on the previously scheduled equipment prep and engage the crating company and freight company. Or, if optioned, CEPros will facilitate a buyer pick-up.

CEPros requires crating companies to take photos of the equipment crating that are reviewed and approved by us before freight is scheduled.
This assures a safe equipment transport.

Once the crating photos have been approved, CEPros notifies the buyer the equipment is ready to ship and confirms the delivery address and buyer's schedule.

All shipments are insured and include an appointment delivery time that works with your schedule.
