BASICS   |     SPECS   |     CRATE & FREIGHT

Ready to level up your roast game? This 2018 5kg Joper BSR-5 used coffee roaster (11 lb/batch) equipment set is serious machinery for serious coffee people—and it’s only available because the owner is stepping out of the business.

Built in Portugal with a cast-iron drum and faceplate, the roaster is engineered for durability and beautifully even heat. It runs on single-phase 110V and natural gas, with thoughtfully designed burners that deliver consistent, controlled roasting. Direct-drive motors deliver low-vibration, steady roasts, and cleanup is simple thanks to removable plates and a built-in bean-catch drawer.

But wait! This equipment set is pretty unique. It has a matched Joper destoner with silo that drops into a Joper mixer to fully blend your origins and a small air compressor to handle the pneumatic needs. Pretty sweet set up.

Note: The air compressor functions properly, but it requires a small hose fitting at the connection to the destoner. It operates as is, and the fix is inexpensive and straightforward.

Located in the Midwest USA, this roaster is fully functional, consistently cleaned, and in great condition with normal signs of use. Package includes the Joper destoner and mixer, plus three sections of dual-walled chimney (4'–6').

If you’ve been waiting for a dependable 5kg workhorse with European craftsmanship, this one’s ready to roll.

Here's the roaster in action. Note how the beans transfer from the cooler to the destoner:

Frequently Asked Buyer Questions

Once a Used Elite equipment sale has transacted, what’s involved in relocating the equipment?

Once the seller confirms full payment has been received, CEPros will move on the previously scheduled equipment prep and engage the crating company and freight company. Or, if optioned, CEPros will facilitate a buyer pick-up.

CEPros requires crating companies to take photos of the equipment crating that are reviewed and approved by us before freight is scheduled.
This assures a safe equipment transport.

Once the crating photos have been approved, CEPros notifies the buyer the equipment is ready to ship and confirms the delivery address and buyer's schedule.

All shipments are insured and include an appointment delivery time that works with your schedule.
