This stealth black, beautiful Diedrich “IR” coffee roaster is fueled by natural gas into those renowned infra-red burners yielding that consistent heat source Diedrich IRs are so well known for.

The Story: The current owner purchased a coffee roastery in May of this year after roasting on this dependable machine since 2009.  Business is booming, and renovations are in the works. New plans don’t include this roaster set, making this equipment available for your consideration. Still hooked up. Last use in May of this year. 

Reported to be a 2004 model, this roaster was set up and commissioned in 2005 and has been putting out consistent 6+ lb Diedrich batches ever since. Low use over its lifetime - only 8 hours a week since 2005!

The seller/roastmaster has handled all the servicing consistent with Diedrich requirements. It’s ready for decommissioning freight prep, and shipping to your roastery.

Some cosmetic imperfections caused by grease on the front have no impact on the performance of this beauty. Great running condition from low usage. Note: The seller reports the bearings are getting a little loud and may need to be changed. Quick process and bearings are readily available from Diedrich or even Grainger online.

The machine is located in the Midwest States, USA. Set up for natural gas from the factory. Powered by 110v // 5.8 amps. This machine is an older style without a cooler agitator and beans need to be spread out by hand. The afterburner is also fueled by natural gas. Regulators can be included. Several pieces of Selkirk ducting are included — about 12' and two 45° sections. 

These machines don't become available very often — a great starter roaster with a matching afterburner from the Diedrich family.
