Air-Motion Roasters Wins Best Product Award at Coffee Fest Dallas–Fort Worth
First-time Coffee Fest exhibitor earns judged Best Product Award and is the only coffee roaster among the category’s four 2026 Best Product winners
SPICEWOOD, Texas — October 21, 2026 — Air-Motion Roasters won the Best Product Award (Non-Consumable) at Coffee Fest Dallas–Fort Worth, held October 17–18 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The company earned the judged product award at its first CoffeeFest appearance, showcasing its all-electric, all-air line of coffee roasters.
The event drew more than 1,800 attendees and featured 140 exhibitors. The Dallas–Fort Worth event concluded Coffee Fest’s four-show 2026 schedule, following New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Air-Motion Roasters joins fellow non-consumable category winners Greenpacks USA (New York), Roastar (Chicago), and Pro Coffee Gear (Los Angeles). Air-Motion Roasters was the only coffee roaster recognized in the category across the four 2026 Coffee Fest events.
“To come to our first Coffee Fest as an exhibitor and leave with this award is incredibly gratifying,” said Rick Davis, founder and CEO of Coffee Equipment Pros, the exclusive North American distributor of Air-Motion Roasters. “We see it as recognition that air roasting has a meaningful place in today’s coffee production landscape. Roasters are closely examining how their equipment affects both the coffee they make and how they operate. We’re proud to give them an all-electric option that puts hands-on roast control at the center of that conversation.”

Coffee Fest’s non-consumable Best Product Award is selected by a judging panel that evaluates entries in its Digital Product Showcase against a common set of criteria. The award is separate from the attendee-voted “Best of Fest” People’s Choice award. The recognition came at a show featuring a broad range of roasting technology, with brands including Loring, Aillio, Bellwether, Stronghold, and Typhoon represented alongside Air-Motion Roasters.
Air-Motion Roasters use electrically heated airflow to keep beans moving during roasting, with instantaneous responsive heat and airflow controls and a patented open roast chamber. Electric heating eliminates the need to burn gas for heat, while the extraction system removes smoke, smells, VOCs, and chaff from the roast chamber. These features support the company’s focus on roast quality and on helping businesses explore alternatives to gas-fired production.
“We had a steady stream of visitors and some very productive conversations,” Davis said. “We expect several of those connections to turn into Air-Motion Roaster sales, including the AMR6 we brought to the booth. It was also fun to spend time with friends exhibiting and to see our client, Whiskey Morning Coffee, participating in Roaster’s Row. Between the award, the relationships and the business opportunities, this was a successful show for us.”
Coffee Fest has served the specialty coffee industry since 1992, bringing equipment suppliers, café owners, roasters and other coffee professionals together for product discovery, education and business connections.
Air-Motion Roasters plans to add a new 20kg Air-Motion Roaster to its lineup in the first quarter of 2027, offering greater capacity for growing roasting operations. In the second quarter, the company will exhibit at World of Coffee for a second time, taking place in New Orleans, April 9–11, 2027.
